DEP Water Extraction Wand

One of the most interesting products here at SERVPRO of The Attleboros is the water extraction wand. After water or storm damage, excessive moisture is most likely present and it needs to be extracted, then dried with the air-movers and dehumidifiers. This handy-dandy wand makes it easy for our technicians to extract water quickly and effectively for the Attleboro home or business owner.

How The Wand Works:

The 2-inch diameter wand ensures the most air-flow through the tub. The handle makes it easy to hold and grasp when trying to cover smaller or tighter, more compact areas of the home. This wand comes with a patented plastic glider that makes using it a breeze. A flexible neck allows for easier use in tighter, clustered areas. This product weighs about 5 pounds. The light-weight design makes it easy for anybody to use.

If vacuum pressure causes it to "cling" to the carpet, just squeeze the vacuum release lever and resume work. Easy easy!

Product Maintenance

Maintaining the cleanliness of this product is important, but there is no need to use abrasive cleaners. If you're using it daily, wipe it clean with a gentle detergent. Vacuum clean water through the device to clean the tube and the head. Inspect the break seal of the vacuum regularly if used a lot. Replace it if it’s damaged. Cleaning the device with hot water and mild detergent goes a long way and will ensure the integrity of the product.

NOTE - These wands are solely meant for carpet use. They are not meant for use on ceramic tiles or hard-wood floors.
